Public Transport
We're committed to making your journey to the festival as eco-friendly as possible. Multiple Bus Éireann routes operate from Galway, providing convenient and sustainable transport options throughout the event. We are working in conjunction with Bus Éireann, and additional public transport will be provided if demand warrants it.
Bus Éireann - Route 404: Serving Oranmore to Westside via Eyre Square
Public Rail
We’re working closely with Iarnród Éireann to monitor passenger movement levels, with additional commuter train services scheduled if demand requires. The Oranmroe train station is apporx 20 min walk to the venue
Private Momentum Buses with Our Local Partner: O'Donoghue's of Galway
In keeping with the festival's ethos of supporting local and renowned partners, we've engaged O'Donoghue's of Galway to provide our private bus services. This family-run business has been serving the community since 1966, operating a modern fleet of 5-star coaches with facilities including air conditioning, ensuring your journey is as comfortable as it is sustainable. With their expertise in transporting groups from 1 to 500 passengers and their Fáilte Ireland-approved service, you're in safe hands getting to and from the festival.
We're offering private momentum buses operated by O'Donoghue's, with the following routes now open for booking on all days:
Route 1:
Galway City - Cathedral Car Park - Return to Oranmore | €15 return
Route 2:
Athlone - Ballinasloe - Loughrea - Craughwell - Oranmore | Athlone €30 return, all other stops €20 return
Route 3:
Tuam - Claregalway - Oranmore | €20 return
Route 4:
Ennis - Gort - Labane - Ardrahan - Clarinbridge - Oranmore | Ennis €30 return, all other stops €20 return
Route 5:
Dublin – Oranmore | From €60 return
